High Intensity Discharge bulbs (HID), also known as Gas Discharge or Xenon bulbs, were once considered a luxury or executive vehicle part. Now, however, they are fitted as a standard to many vehicles - with demand continuously increasing over time.

NAPA offers a comprehensive range of popular Xenon HID bulbs made to OE specification and always through strict quality standards.

HID Features:

• Higher light output at 3200 lumens
• Colour temperature of up to 5500K, producing a crisp white light that is much closer to natural daylight than standard halogen bulbs which produce a yellow light at 3000K
• HID bulb design features a glass capsule at the centre containing Xenon gas, compared to the filament in standard automotive bulbs which is susceptible to vibration
• Lifespan of around 3,000 hours

All products in the NAPA range are manufactured to a high quality standard and engineered by an R & D team. Each bulb is quality tested throughout the production process and certified to meet several international standards including ECE regulation 37 (R37). The Quality Assurance department is regularly and independently verified by BSI, having been awarded ISO9001 for the manufacture and assembly of automotive lighting over a period of many years.
